A Chinese national’s property was literally stolen and the property was then re-sold to another buyer and closed escrow on it. Everything was carried out without the notice of the owner and standard procedures were followed – listing on MLS, seller and buyer agents, title and escrow companies, notarized documents, and so forth. A seemingly legitimate transaction is actually filled with fraudulent activities, identity theft, impersonation, fabricated documents and forged signatures.
